Once again Folio (Friends of the Library in Olney) is kindly running the Kidzone activity area
to entertain the children over BOFF weekend.
Located between the Cowper & Newton Museum and the Pancake Parlour will be a reading
and colouring corner, playdough, Lego & Duplo, face-painting, Lucky Dip and a pre-owned
toy and book stall.
Folio’s aims are to raise the footfall in the Library and to keep it at the heart of the
community. It supports Olney Library by:

• Extending staffing hours
• Arranging talks and events e.g. live theatre for children
• Linking with local schools
• Raising awareness in the community of library services in Milton Keynes
• Helping with activities at the library – Lego/Duplo Club, Book Clubs, Play Sessions, Crafts
• Organising and running Story Time
• Fundraising
